<aside> 💡 This guide is intended to explain how a Validation QR Code can be used from the perspective of a driver attempting to receive discounted parking.

To receive validated or discounted parking as a driver, you must first register with AirGarage upon arrival at the parking facility.
To register, park first and then look for the orange AirGarage signs (pictured below) around the facility.
Scan the QR Code on the Pay-to-Park sign to access the payment screen, or use the text-to-pay option by texting the word ‘pay’ to the phone number listed on the sign.
Once you’ve accessed the payment screen (screenshot below), you will need to enter your vehicle information and your payment information.
Note: This information must be entered before walking out of the parking facility. If you do not enter your vehicle information, you may receive a parking ticket.
Once you’ve entered your information, press ‘Start Parking’.
<aside> 🚨 You will not be charged as long as you stay at the parking facility for less time than your validation.
If you overstay your validation period, your card will be charged the standard hourly rate. (i.e., if you have a 2-hour validation but stay at the parking facility for 3 hours, you will be charged for 1 hour.)

Now that your information has been entered and your session has started, you can use a Validation QR Code.
The retailer you are visiting will provide you with a flyer that looks like the examples below:
