<aside> 💡 This guide is intended to explain how a QR Code Validation can be used from the perspective of a driver attempting to receive discounted parking.

In order to receive validated or discounted parking as a driver you must first register with AirGarage upon arrival to the parking facility.
To register, park first and then look for the orange AirGarage signs (pictured below) around the facility.
Scan the QR Code on the sign to be taken to the payment screen, or use the text-to-pay option by texting the word ‘pay’ to the phone number listed on the sign.
Once you’ve accessed the payment screen (Screenshot below) you will need to enter your vehicle information and your payment information.
Note: This information must be entered prior to walking out of the parking facility. If you do not enter your vehicle information, you may receive a parking ticket.
Once you’ve entered your information, press ‘Start Parking’.
<aside> 🚨 You will not be charged as long as you stay at the parking facility for less time than your validation. If you over-stay your validation period your card will be charged the standard hourly rate. I.e. if you have a 2 hour validation but stay at the parking facility for 3 hours, you will be charged for 1 hour.

Now that your information has been entered and your rental has started, you can use a QR Code Validation code.
The retailer you are visiting will provide you with a flyer that looks like the examples below:
